Francis “Frank” Davis, Psy.D., CCTP

Hello, and thank you for taking a moment to get to know me.

My name is Dr. Frank Davis, and I’ve been practicing for over 13 years. During that time, I’ve had the privilege of working with clients facing a wide variety of challenges. I often work with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, and sleep difficulties, among other concerns. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Provider (CCTP) and a Certified Telemental Health Provider, and I approach care with a belief that each person is more than the sum of their parts. Healing, in my view, involves tending to the whole person and gently moving toward wellness and balance.

My clinical approach is integrative, drawing on several therapeutic modalities to fit your unique needs. I frequently use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which helps people embrace their experiences (without necessarily agreeing with them) and move toward actions that align with their deepest values. I also use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which offers effective tools for managing distress, improving relationships, and cultivating mindfulness—a powerful skill that takes practice but can bring lasting calm and clarity. Both ACT and DBT are rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and I view them through the lens of Individual Psychology, which sees behavior as purposeful and shaped by both logic and environment. While these are my professional “home bases,” I believe therapy works best when we find what feels most grounding and helpful for you.

Honoring a person’s cultural and personal experience is central to my work. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I hold firmly to the idea of meeting people where they are—a value that means something different for everyone. When we’re allowed to be our authentic selves, we can more freely explore, heal, and grow. I truly believe that the journey is just as meaningful as the destination, and my goal is to help you find comfort, connection, and steadiness along the way.
